🔒 Privacy Policy of Nimetsu

This Privacy Policy describes the processing of personal data and the information collected by the Nimetsu service, an automated WhatsApp bot developed and operated by Daniel Ignacio Báez Cofré (hereinafter, the “Administrator”).

Using the service implies the express acceptance of this policy, which may be updated at any time.

a) Technical data

  • WhatsApp user number (ID: @s.whatsapp.net or @lid)
  • Profile display name
  • Web access data: IP, browser, operating system, date and time

b) Bot functional data

  • Commands used, frequency, and interaction activity
  • Group information (name, ID, settings)
  • Usage statistics, levels, points, virtual currencies, game history
  • Last known activity of the user in groups where the bot is or has been present, even if the user does not execute commands directly

c) Optional data provided by the user

  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Personal descriptions, relationships between users, favorite characters

d) Temporary data

  • Media files processed by commands (deleted after use)
  • Limited history of AI interactions (up to 25 messages)

3. Purposes of Processing

  • Enable the operation of the bot and its features
  • Personalize the user experience (profiles, levels, replies)
  • Manage internal systems such as economy, gacha, minigames, and reactions
  • Facilitate moderation features and rule enforcement
  • Analyze performance and continuously improve the service
  • Log activity for security, anti-abuse, and traceability purposes

Nimetsu does not create commercial profiles or use data for external advertising purposes.

  • Explicit consent from the user by using the bot and accepting the Terms of Service.
  • Legitimate interest of the Administrator to maintain security, stability, and improvement of the service.

5. Data Retention

  • Technical and functional data: while the user actively uses the bot.
  • Optional data: editable or deletable by the user at any time.
  • Images/files processed: automatically deleted after use.
  • AI histories: periodically reset and not stored long term.

6. Sharing Data with Third Parties

Nimetsu does not share or sell personal information to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

For certain features (automatic moderation, content generation, or image analysis), Nimetsu may use external APIs and third-party services, including AI providers.

  • Image processing to detect sensitive or prohibited content.
  • Generation of images or animations.
  • Text generation using conversational systems.

Nimetsu has its own local model for text and image; however, in cases of high demand or instability, it may rely on external providers (e.g., OpenAI, HuggingFace, or others), to whom only the data strictly necessary to process the request will be sent.

These providers are selected based on their security and privacy standards, but the Administrator cannot assume responsibility for their use or storage practices, especially if they are subject to other jurisdictions.

If you do not want your requests to be processed outside the local system, avoid using text/image generation features or sensitive automatic filters.

Additionally, certain support services (hosting, databases) may process data as part of the normal operation of the system under appropriate security measures.

7. Information Security

  • Restricted access to sensitive data.
  • Automatic deletion of sensitive content.
  • Periodic reviews of suspicious activity.

Even so, no system is 100% infallible. Using platforms like WhatsApp involves inherent risks outside the Administrator’s control.

8. User Rights

  • Access the collected information.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your profile or personal data.
  • Withdraw your consent and stop using the bot.

These requests can be managed from the bot or through the official channels indicated on this page.

9. External Services and Links

Nimetsu may offer links or commands that redirect to external services (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.). Those services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

The Administrator is not responsible for the data the user shares with such third parties.

10. Minors

Use of Nimetsu is intended for people aged 13 and older. NSFW features require legal adulthood (+18) and manual activation by an administrator.

The group administrator is responsible for preventing minors from accessing NSFW features. If there are minors in the group, they must immediately disable those features or remove the minors before re-enabling them.

The developer does not have automatic means to verify age; responsibility lies with administrators and users themselves.

11. Changes to This Policy

The Administrator may modify this policy to comply with legal requirements or improve the system. It is recommended to review this section periodically.

Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the changes made.

12. Law and Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any privacy-related dispute will be heard by the competent courts of Santiago.
